EDMONIA is a sweeping, intimate new musical about art, ambition, and desire — set between post–Civil War New York and Rome. Inspired by the real lives of sculptors Edmonia Lewis and Emma Stebbins, the show imagines a “what may have been” love story between two women

daring to define themselves in a world determined to limit them.

what does it cost a woman — specifically a queer woman of color — 

to claim her voice, her body, and her art?
